Fast Explorer 2008 is a shell integration tool for Windows. The shell is the engine, or the heart, of Windows Explorer. When you right-click a file, you get all the options that are incorporated into the shell. The main ones are Open, Copy, Paste, etc. With Fast Explorer 2008, you can make the shell menu a whole lot better. You can add your own options. It really is up to you to be creative enough to take full advantage of this application. Fast Explorer 2008 installs a one-screen configuration menu, where you can add the actions to the shell menu. For example, you can get actions that allow you to open certain bookmarks in certain Internet Browsers, or you can create new Send to items. By default, you have items like Send to G: Disc, but you can add any location that you might want to that list. You could even configure the shell to add songs to your playlist in any media player, or to mount disc image files by simply right clicking on them. The possibilities are endless, and you are the one that creates them. |
